Vaulted Hand Cut Roof Construction in Ingatestone, Essex | Smart Carpentry

Traditional vaulted hand cut roof constructed on site in Ingatestone, Essex by Smart Carpentry. This bespoke roofing project was designed to create a large open internal living space with vaulted ceilings and exposed structural roof carpentry.

All roof timbers were individually measured, marked and hand cut on site to ensure a precise fit throughout the structure. The project included structural ridge beams, rafters, valley details, dormer roof construction and complex intersecting roof sections completed using traditional carpentry methods.

The vaulted design created additional ceiling height, increased natural light and a spacious internal layout while maintaining the structural integrity of the building.
