Attic Truss Roof Installation for Terraced Town Houses in Bishop’s Stortford, Essex

Large-scale attic truss roof installation completed in Bishop’s Stortford, Essex for a local building contractor. This roofing project formed part of a terraced townhouse development designed to maximise internal living space across the upper floors.

Smart Carpentry carried out the full structural roof installation, including the positioning and fixing of attic trusses, structural bracing, floor zones and roof framing elements. The attic truss design created usable loft accommodation within the roof structure while maintaining structural strength and roof load performance.

The project required precise setting out, careful alignment across multiple plots and efficient installation to meet programme deadlines on a live construction site. The completed roof structure provided large open internal loft spaces suitable for additional bedrooms and living accommodation.
